Sales Associate/Trainee

ICON Residential is a leading investment and development real estate company based in Tampa Bay that specializes in urban boutique townhome communities. We are seeking to employ Sales Associates who recently obtained their Real Estate Licenses to support the New Home Sales Consultants in our Tampa/St. Petersburg market. The ideal candidate will have strong sales and marketing skills with a proven track record of success and a willingness to learn and grow professionally. We will provide all training and support required to maximize this great opportunity. Travel to ICON Residential community sites is expected, predominantly in the St. Petersburg area.
Responsibilities:
• Put the customer at the heart of everything we do
• Acquire a thorough working knowledge of our homes and communities
• Assist Sales Consultants in making the buying process as stress-free as possible for our buyers
• Maintain and cultivate contacts with referral sources
• Support sales program activities as requested by the Regional Sales Manager and assigned Sales Consultant(s)
• Deal fairly, honestly, and respectfully with all your buyers, managers, and fellow team members
• Willingness to travel to various sales offices
• Provide coverage during days off for Sales Consultant(s)
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor’s degree is a plus
• Relevant professional experience in a high-performance sales environment
• 5+ years of experience in a customer service environment
• Possession of a Florida Real Estate License
• Results orientation- must have a strong desire to succeed and with a strong entrepreneurial spirit to seize opportunities
• Integrity – must demonstrate a high degree of integrity and trustworthiness
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with strong emphasis on listening
• Ability to work on a team with a diverse group of people.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, changing environment and able to build long-term relationships with customers/partners
• Follows all sales procedures and processes in sales program
• Ability to work weekends as required by business and client demands
• Punctual, with strong organizational, time management skills, and attention to detail with an ability to manage your assignments
• Proficiency in computer skills and willingness to learn new software
90-day Initial Training Period:
Compensation: $15/hour with bonus opportunities
