Frequently Asked Questions

1. What are the technical requirements to take a Bert Rodgers course online?

If you are not sure if your computer meets the technical requirements, please call technical support at 800-432-0320 and press 2.

2. Why do I have to take the final exam online?
For continuing education, you have the option of taking the final exam online or by correspondence. Correspondence students may mail or fax their answer sheets to Bert Rodgers Schools.

The State of Florida has recently approved pre- and post-licensing courses for distance learning.  The final examination must be timed. Pre- and post-licensing courses may not be offered through correspondence.

3. Do I have to take the pre- and post-license modules in order?
No. However, you must answer all exercise questions correctly and score 100% on all post tests to be eligible to take the final examination.

4. What are the payment options for online courses?
Payment must be made by credit card. Bert Rodgers Schools accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. A debit card may be used as long it is one of the above.

5. My credit card was not accepted. What should I do?
Verify your credit card number and expiration date and be certain the expiration date is in the future. Our eCommerce provider authorizes your payment using the identical process as in any credit purchase. If the purchase is declined, your credit card is not currently valid. You may use an alternate credit card or contact your credit card merchant.

6. Is my transaction information secure?
Yes! Our website is registered as a “Secure Site” with Thawte. The information you exchange with our site (including your name and address as well as your credit card information) cannot be viewed by anyone else on the Internet. Thawte, our SSL (Secure Socket Layer) provider, encrypts all transaction information so that it cannot be read by anyone else on the Internet.

7. What happens if my computer goes down in the middle of the course final exam?
For a continuing education course, simply go to our site, click on Course Login,  enter your username and password, then go to the exam you were taking. 

If you are taking a pre- or post-licensing course, you must telephone the Bert Rodgers office and ask for Technical Support. Hours are 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday and 8 AM to 4 PM Saturdays.

8. How do I know that my test results are secure and not available to anyone except Bert Rodgers Schools and myself?
When you take the final exam and enter the response to each question, your response is sent to the database of our secure server and cannot be viewed by anyone else on the Internet. When your final exam is submitted and graded, the results are returned to you instantly via the Internet, and this data is also secure; only the individual student receiving the test results and Bert Rodgers Schools may view this data. In accordance with FREC rules, our school reports test results to the DBPR 
 

9. Will my personal information including name, home address, email address, license number, or other data be available to other companies or organizations on the Internet or otherwise used?
Bert Rodgers Schools does not sell, rent, or otherwise make available students’ names or other information to any company or organization. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

10. How do I access the course final exam?
For continuing education courses:

If you have already studied the course by correspondence, you may proceed directly to the final exam.  If you are studying online, read the material and proceed to the final exam.

Pre- and post-licensing students must score 100% on all end-of-module post tests and agree to the Ethical Statement to be eligible to take the final exam.

11. What if I want to change my answer to a final exam question that is no longer on the screen?
You may return to any question before submitting your final exam.  You may flag a question, and return to it at any time during your exam. 

Continuing education students may wish to print the exam and record their answers manually before beginning the online final exam. If you have a book or a printed copy of the course, you may fill out your answers on the printed test and then go online to record your answers and receive immediate results. There is no time limit for continuing education final exams. They are open-book tests.

12. What happens if I do not finish the exam in the time allotted?
Continuing education course final examinations are open-book tests. They are not timed.

Pre-license and post-license final exams are timed. Your test will be scored when the alloted time expires, and any unanswered questions will be marked incorrect.  It is to your benefit to answer all questions on the final exam.  You may flag, and return to any question.

13. How do I get my official Course Completion Report?
After successful completion of the final exam, your official Course Completion Report will be automatically emailed to you.  You may also print your official report by clicking the certificate button under your account in “My Courses”.  If you lose your report or need another copy, you may print another one at any time.

14. What are the prerequisites for taking a course?

15. Are the Bert Rodgers Schools online real estate courses approved by the State of Florida?

Yes! Our 14-hour continuing education course is approved by the FREC.  Our 28-Hour License Reactivation Course approval number is #0011039.  Our 45-Hour Sales Associate Post-License course approval  number is #0008391.  Our 63-Hour Sales Associate Pre-License course approval number is #0008447.  Our 72-Hour Broker Pre-License course appoval number is #0008967.

16. Can I preview a course before I purchase it?
Yes! You may preview continuing education courses FREE prior to purchase.  We ask for your name and email address before you can preview a course.
