This is NOT my first license renewal, but I did not complete continuing education for my most recent license renewal. My license expires less than 12 months ago. What do I need to do?

Licensee who fails to complete the 14 hours of continuing education and/or pay their renewal fee will have their license status become involuntary inactive. If a licensee's status has been involuntary inactive for 12 months or less, the licensee may activate their license by completing the 14 hours of continuing education, paying renewal fees, and late fees if applicable.

I did not complete my continuing education and my license expired more than 12 months ago. What do I need to do?

A licensee may reactivate a license which has been involuntary inactive for more than 12 months but less than 24 months, by satisfactorily completing 28 hours of Commission prescribed education and paying all applicable fees. An individual may remain involuntary inactive for only two years. At the end of the two-year period, the license will be null and void.
