New Scholarship
Program
To celebrate more than 50 years of providing real estate
licensing and continuing education courses to Florida
professionals, Bert Rodgers Schools of Real Estate has
established a scholarship fund. The scholarship is a tribute
to Bert Rodgers’ continuing passion for teaching and his
dedication to the industry.
Scholarships
for the Pre-License Sales Associate course will be awarded
semi-annually. Applications must be received by May 31st
for the June scholarship and by November 30th for
the December scholarship.
Scholarship
recipients will be given our Sales Associate Pre-License
Premium Package and will be reimbursed the fees necessary to
obtain a Florida Sales Associate real estate license.
Applicants
must meet all state requirements to be eligible for the
scholarship and do not have to be Florida residents
(requirements are listed on the application form).
The
Scholarship Application must be filled out
completely and mailed to Bert Rodgers Schools along with
these two items:
- Each candidate must be
nominated by an actively licensed Florida broker;
the broker must submit a Letter of Reference

An essay by the candidate (200 words or less) explaining why
they want and deserve to be rewarded the scholarship
Scholarship winners will pay all fees including:
application fee, fingerprint fee and sitting fee to
PearsonVue. After sending BRS their approval
letter from the state and receipt from PearsonVue—BRS
will reimburse the scholarship winner for the affiliated
licensing expenses.
This does not qualify as
tax-free scholarship income therefore winners are
responsible for any taxes. Please refer to
IRS Publication 470.
