Your Instructor for these courses is Susan E. Baker, MAI, SRPA. We are very pleased to have recently welcomed Ms. Baker aboard as our Appraisal Instructor. She brings great value to our Appraisal program offering her expertise of over 25 years of experience as a commercial and residential appraiser.
In Florida, Ms. Baker is licensed as a State-Certified General Appraiser, a General Appraisal Instructor and a Real Estate Broker. In addition, she has earned the title of a Certified National USPAP Instructor by the Appraiser Qualifications Board (AQB) of The Appraisal Foundation.
Ms. Baker graduated summa cum laude from the University of Miami. During her career, she has been a Staff Appraiser, a Senior Appraiser, an Independent Fee Appraiser, a Commercial and Residential Appraisal Firm Owner, and a Chief Review Appraiser. She was awarded the Senior Real Property Appraiser (SRPA) designation in 1986 and the Member Appraisal Institute (MAI) designation in 1990.
Throughout her career, Ms. Baker has served as an appraiser, consultant, and lecturer to numerous banks and financial institutions, the Nature Conservancy, the Florida Department of Transportation, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, the South Florida Water Management District, the International Association of Assessing Officers, and many others. She also has presented expert witness testimony in numerous circuit courts in Florida.
Currently, Ms. Baker is a Commercial Review Appraiser at Regions Bank and is also an Adjunct Instructor at Seminole Community College. Here at Bert Rodgers Schools, Ms. Baker is an author, an Expert Content Reviewer, and our Appraisal Instructor for our online Appraisal Continuing Education courses. |
