How many continuing education hours are required?
All Florida appraisers must complete 30 hours of continuing education for each two-year license, registration, or certification period. An inactive registrant, licensee, or certificate holder may elect to renew as active by submitting a request (Form RE-2060-1), proof of continuing education, and the appropriate fees to the DBPR. Also see Chapter 61J1-4.007 for more details.

Do I have to submit my Grade Report with my renewal?
No, but the DBPR requires that you retain your Grade Report(s) for a minimum of two (2) years. If you are audited, you must show proof that you completed your continuing education requirement.

I would like to change my status. What is the procedure for making this change with the DBPR?
Use the Request for Appraiser Change of Status Form RE-2060-1  http://www.state.fl.us/dbpr/re/forms/re-2060-1.pdf to notify the DBPR of your change of status. (Note: This form is a pdf file, and you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to download and print it.) Under "Check Action Required," fill in your "Appraiser Type" in the first block and the "Action Requested" in the second block.

What is your refund policy?
